So I noticed 2 issues with my DK40 (app. 400 hours total)

When I go to curl the bucket it only curls halfway rendering it essentially useless. I supose first thing to check is fluid level. It uncurls without a problem but again will not fully curl. Any thoughts as I have little knowledge of such issues?

Secondly, and believe this just developed as well, so possibly related. I virtually never use the 3 point attachment but just noticed that the right side lift arm basically just drags along the ground in other words it will not raise when I activate the lift lever. The other side arm seems to function properly.

Could these issues be related? If hydro fluid level is good where do I go from here? BTW I see no fluid leaks anywhere.

Appreciate any help. Happy holidays to all.

As you said check the fluid level first. The 3 point arm is likely unrelated because I'm not familiar with any tractor unless it has a hydraulic cylinder to make the connection between the arm and the upper lift arm that can only lift one side at a time. If it has a cylinder there then that might be an add on and definitely a related issue. Otherwise look at the linkage and make sure if it's the adjustable one that it hasn't screwed itself apart and let the arm drop all the way down. If the fluid is where it should be check your loader quick connects where you would detach and re-attach if you were taking it on or off. They can get bumped and one coupler released from the "connected" position. You can get it to go one way but the other way it will go part way and stall. That's worth checking. Then I would look for any physical obstructions that might stop the bucket from curling. Surprisingly a chunk of wood or a rock can get in a pivot point and do this. These are where I would start. Good luck.

As far as the 3 point issues the guys with Kioti's can probably give you a lot more insight into what might be going on. I don't know how the upper lift arms are attached to the rockshaft etc.

Lift arm dragging on the ground. Most likely something simply came apart, or a pin fell out, linkage related issue one way or another. Not related to bucket cylinders at all.

As for the hydraulic problem. What else doesn't work? Hydraulic problems don't often affect only a single function. When you curl the bucket back and stops moving, then what happens? Engine loads up and hydraulics go over relief? Nothing happens at all? Give us something to work with.

Raise the loader all the way up and hold the lever. See what effect that has and compare it to the bucket curl attempt.
