Ck2610se HST Cab pedal linkage failure

22 Kioti CK 2610se HST cab 650hrs
Pedals have been sticking forward and reverse for several months. I’ve been under there looking for any issue but couldn’t find anything. Yesterday both pedals dropped to the floor and I noticed the linkage was off. One of the pins appeared to shear off so I drilled from the back side and spot welded it back on. See pics

There must be quite a bit of friction on that bolt to break again after the fix.

Is there something bent, warped or out of alignment on the linkage?
