Kioti CK3510HST 3pt won't raise.

Hello and thank you in advance. The 3pt hitch on my 2021 CK3510HST will not raise. All hydraulic levers are in the correct position, the FEL operates smooth and correct and fluid level is correct. There is no pressure holding the arms down. They will raise after operating the tractor for awhile (don't know specifics as I only noticed they were up after some time). Here's the the kicker, when I shut off the key they will lurch up. I'm thinking it's an electrical problem but with zero service data I have no idea where to start.

I will go out on a limb and say that for about 90% of owners with a new tractor that is the problem when the 3 point hitch arms won't raise.

That knob only adjusts the speed the 3 pt drops or if closed all the way, prevents the 3 pt from lowering entirely. It will still let it raise at full speed in any of the positions of the knob.

I suspect the issue is on of the remotes stuck in detent mode.

And for sanity sake. Note the check valve on the down speed control valve (that knob under the seat). This check valve lets the fluid pass without any restriction to raise the 3 pt but will prevent it from lowering by forcing the fluid to go through the flow control valve.

Good points… i didnt think about a rear remote set in detent position. That has happened to me a few times.

These are all good ideas and I thank you for the information. I have checked out the hydraulic system and everything appears correct. I think what everyone is overlooking is that the arms raise when the ignition is shut off. Once the arms are up they do not bleed down.

Does this tractor have a third function and/or a backhoe?

They raise as soon as the key is cut off. It's not all the way but 4-6 inches. They will do it every time. I suspect that there is a solenoid controlled valve that is not working properly. Like I said, without any service data any troubleshooting would be merely poke and hope.

I'm wondering if the third function is stuck in one position and once you turn the key off, it returns to neutral, so a little bit of residual pressure will then cause the 3 pt to raise slightly.

If this is the case, then there must be something going on with the switch for the 3rd function.

I did play with the switches for the 3rd function while trying to raise the 3PT but no joy. Nothing is currently connected to the 3rd function currently.

You win!!! One of the switches was stuck. The knob they are mounted in was full of water and the inside of the switch was all fubar. Problem solved now all I have to do is replace both switches so I have 3rd function restored. There was no easily felt tactile difference in the switch and with the engine running I couldn't hear any. Once I played with it while everything was quiet I noticed one switch made a click and one didn't.

Anyone with the 3rd function may want to seal up the knob on the FEL lever.
