Kioti ck25 stuck in 3rd gear

I've got a kioti ck25 tractor that is stuck in 3rd gear . Not exactly sure what's wrong but believe it's a bent fork in the transmission.
I had the tractor fixed for the same problem a few years ago ,but the tractor is not worth the repair price again . Has anyone ever fixed this without splitting the tractor? Thanks

Hydrostatic or standard transmission? My Mitsubishi used to get stuck in second from time to time. It was a standard and I could remove the shift assembly from the top of the transmission. I could then use a big screwdriver or pry bar to move the gear on its shaft, freeing it. I had this happen twice in fifteen years.

Manual transmission. There is a access plate that shift assembly goes through on the side of the transmission
