19 degrees here today. Yay! Well, boo! It's supposed to be 50 and rain by this weekend, back into 30s-40 for a few, and 50's again next week. Middle of December. Ice fishing forecast is bleak.

I think that was the restaurant that was next to the bar and I think it closed in the 80's. It's torn down now.

Three below now and 10-12 inches on the ground. Have to do some snow blowing before the mail lady comes. Really windy yesterday.

I looked at the bridge cam on Michigan Tech last night, and at times you couldn't see the bridge.

Went to Houghton yesterday. On the way there the last 15 miles was pretty crappy. On the way home visibility sucked for the first 30 miles.

I had checked the weather in the morning and there wasn't anything about snow. They lied.

NOAA said we'd get 1 to 3 overnight but a NW wind must have added lake snow in and we got 6". It was wet and hard to work with. Pics from this am. These might give you an idea, what us trail workers see, on many days.
