I have b7100 hst d Kobota I changed the hst filter, it is located uinder the seat, when i start the tractor it as way to much preasure and blows the gasket of the filter, the serial number is the older version 13000 i think it has a release valve stuck, the parts manual doesnt show where these valves are located at. has any one had this happen

Are you saying the gasket itself blew out or,
is it just still leaking around the gasket.
I'm not too sure, but I don't think there's that much pressure there.
Could it be a cracked housing.

It only did this after the new filter was installed?

could be the wrong filter. check it, needs to be a HST filter not a hydraulic filter.

My brother loves to give everything the old factory-over-torque. He blew a gasket on an oil filter once by over-tightening it. Perhaps you over-tightened yours too.
