Tractor
kubota B7610
Hello everyone my name is charlie and ive just taken over my family tractor buisness due to my grandpas passing. I have a Kubota B7610 and really dont know anything about it. Also I had a few questions.

1. I charged the battery because it wouldnt start but know it seems to not be taking the charge. Do I need a new battery or is it my cables something internal idk

2. I cant seem to get it to reverse.

Any answers, tips, or anything will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

don't know any thing about that tractor! How long has it been sitting? you could take the battery to a dealer and have it checked out!

How have you been starting it? Jumping? Not cables then. Do you have battery load tester? Most places that sells batteries do. Test it. How old is battery? Looks like you need new battery. When you get battery, write date on top. They normally need replaced every +/- 6 years. I cant help you with reverse issue. I normally just put my tractors in 'R' or step back on the hst pedal. Do you have manual? If not, I stongly suggesty you buy one and read front to back. There will be section on gear changing in it. Good luck! Philip.

If you don't have a tester, you will need to take it somewhere.

My assumption is that this is a geared unit, so your clutch may be stuck.

You really need a manual. I am not familiar with that model, so maybe someone who is will stop by.

Good luck.

Charlie, get the manual before charging battery, sometimes you don't hook up the ground wire to the ground terminal on the battery, you might have to ground it to the frame. Also, if it's cold, you need to bring it in to warm it up first. Check the fluid levels inside if you can.
Battery chargers can take a longer time to charge a battery on the lowest setting than you might think-I had to boost mine up a bit for a few hours to get it reading charged.
Good luck!
