Friend gave me a 021 that had been sitting and needed a good cleaning and carb refresh. Did all of that as well as a new chain/bar.

It works great now for a stock saw, but even just sitting overnight I get a big puddle of bar oil leaking out. It's not the cap on the tank.

What would cause it to ooze bar oil? The 461 doesn't.

So you have a used 655BP cylinder and piston in your possession.

You selling?
I do and would.

I'll get some better pics.

IMHO the plating I am pretty sure if I recall it right had some places.

But that is your call after pics.

Some do some dont.

Try cracking oil cap before putting it up, then re tighten. See if that helps.

Took a bunch of pics. I dont post from phone so will be awhile.

Not as bad as I recall. Just the spot where scuffed some plating looks through. Small spots.

If I had one I would not be scared to use it for my own. Maybe with another piston. But I have used way worse before.

If cant find a BP piston you can make your own from the non BP pistons.

I'm more interested in the piston. If I have to take the cylindar to get the piston I will.

Take your time on the pics, I'm obviously in no rush.

Ya they are a set not separating.

Check out those last 2 pics. You can make your own BP piston.
