There is a formula for checking ring gaps as their not all the same depending on size. Just have to google it.
IMHO to tight.
Here is last saw I did checking in 2 different cylinders same ring.

New cylinder a tight .010

What I thought too. I'll check the next one he gets and see what it measures. I've got a thin diamond stone so it won't take much to trim it down if it's too tight.
USPS finally found the box with stihl250C in it. I reported it lost or stolen to them on 18th after didnt show up for arrival date of 16th. It just sort of disappeared off tracking for awhile.
Ended up on other side of state just stalled there till 29th. Just glad it showed up.
It's the one I traded 3510 off on. It seems all there and no plastics seem broken. Just need to go through everything. Purge bulb was busted.

Good to know they look after the customers stuff and treat it with a bit of care, a small a bit as possible.
