Then rest of times in that class.

I have an old Homelite EZ1 I think, I ran that thing once and oh boy is it loud... you can literally see the piston through the "muffler", probably like the above units, I've gotta get it to my place from my moms one of these days...

Newer 50cc poulan PR5020 was on the bench trouble shooting that got dropped off for a look. Needed carb kit to start and keep running.
Needs crankseals too once warmed up.

IMO not worth the $10 in seals for the plastic clamshell saws.
But some guys may do them just to learn on. If doing for yourself so labor is free.

I owned the older version in all yellow from new to test out to see 12 years ago. Was fine for cheap price point saw that ran 3/8" 20". Liked it better with 16".
IMO should have come with .325 like the version they sell overseas.

They did ad side tensioner to the newer one so thats nice.

Just going to part this one out and put on shelf.

Kind of reminds me of my Dad's old Lombard chainsaw...talk about an ear bleeder! What muffler?? At least all components of the saw were easy to get to! Photo taken probably 60 years ago.

I had a old Clinton I traded a guy local to me.

It came with what I call a rams horn. Open through it.
I also seen they had another version of it too.

Might be enough in old pic to see the muffler deal.

Found more old pics.

Looks like it did have something in the opening to keep stuff from crawling in.

I don't recall seeing this in previous 266 pages.

What is the red car in the background?
That was just a 2004 Monte Carlo I bought for wife one year for valentines day way back.

She was still driving it till a 16 year old idiot hit her out front of our place and totaled it.

I enjoy video's like this done on new saws.

The saw that is in the common firewood guys 262 562 357 359 400.1 361 362 360 036 class.

Getting to see how it is put together while pulling parts for show and tell.

This is a very well explained and executed video. How much are these running currently?

Retail is $1100 with b+c. But if you know a dealer after been out you can get them cheaper.

Just so you know. 562 mkII retail $910. But could be bought for $800 and tad under.

I've never paid retail for a new saw. Wont be buying this anyways though.

Got that class covered with my old school saws. 1 ported and 1 gasket delete with muffler mod

Plus lighter PHO and as used then the 562 mkII and 564.

I wouldnt even buy into the 562's since they been out. Just like old school better.

Thanks.
And I have to say, I feel the same way you do about the older saws.

This was the first I had heard of that saw, so I wasn’t sure if it was even released in the U.S. yet or not, and was curious if you knew the price tag they were hoping for.

Dealer still has 2 echo 4910 on the shelf in Ohio. Just one I seen advertising so.

Hard to beat for the cost for 50cc.

Might try and call them if they will ship ya one. I know the other echo dealers do.

I have one that was modded by Kevin Lavanway in Michigan. It is a really nice 50 cc saw!
