Everything is great. Just staying more on Chainsaw Repair site. http://chainsawrepair.createaforum.com/index.php
So info is organized and saved for others use.

Have a stihl 440 on the bench I had to troubleshoot yesterday for no start issues after using 2 days of firewood use. Wouldnt stay running 3rd day. :p Just a pop sometimes.

To many pics since last one. Will pick a few out.

I got a Poulan for free (and a Huskie leaf blower).

The chain saw started right up and worked a lot better when the chain was installed in the right direction.

I have been thinking about this thread for months now.
I bought a piece of land in N Idaho and I have been wearing out
18" chains regularly. I really do want a pro chainsawn blade sharpener.

Sure I can field dress a blade but there is nothing like a symmetrically ground
done right sharp blade.

Should I spend the extra money and get a 511AX?

If so any dealers here want to shoot me a GREAT price for one ?

IMO hand file is better IMO.

I use a stihl USG for bulk or really screwed up chains.

I helped 2 folks out today. 1 was just wanting 3 11" cookies about 2" thick. Some local wanted to charge her $10 a cut per cookie
I told the women I would cut her 3 cookies for free and sometimes it is not about the $ pass it on freely.

The other was a preschool looking for wood projects for kids to stack and play with. They were wanting to pay me but again I said consider this a donation.

Well my little 3.3 335 impressed the heck out of me today again. Besides all of the little cuts and the biggest 16" buried bucking.
I decided to see how it would do ripping the ash butt log with the 16" buried. :sweet: Also did some noodling and it would pack up the clutch cover at times. But dang she ripped for a 54cc.
Also ran a 372 I rebuilt and sold. Dang it was a good running saw ripping with 24"

Front left 3 are 11" x 12"

One thing I took away from quartering up and ripping the butt logs for a friend.

Noticed yesterday comparing 6800i with small mount 24" to 365-372 with large mount 24" . The 6800 was not balanced and nose heavy as bar tipped forward. The 365-372 was perfectly balanced with 24". Just something I took away from running both. Both get the job done with no problems ripping buried.

Sounds like that 6800i is a POS. Want me to take it off your hands so you don't have to deal with the imbalance issues any more?:D

Been contacting ole dealers for NOS and saws.

Even found a tool that you can no longer buy in US. So a guy from Finland on my Chainsaw Repair site contacted his dealer and found them in Sweden for me. 18 was left. ;)

Love finding NOS stock NLA at dealers. Picked up a couple 60cc topends

Even found 2 saws in the series I like.
