I would like to see good suggestions and examples of the screw drivers used to perform the screw adjustments on chainsaw and string trimmer carbs that don't jump off the screws all the time,

I have not had good results slipping fuel line over the driver shank, Most of the access holes are not big enough.

Isn't a good one made that dont jump off when idling etc. I use 2 different size OEM stihl ones made. IMHO

My echo other day with caps off tuning I noticed the outer on the H had splines too. So tossed the screwdriver and grabbed my spline tool. Easy peasy then.

One on left worked 4mm 21 spline. One in middle OEM husky 5mm. Right Pacman style.

You wrote pulling the one EPA cap left to get more RPMs. I took that to mean you were replacing it. How does that help RPMs?
I took them of the red epa stops off L H. They wouldnt let me get over 10.5K rpms on H side, as thats how they stop you from adjusting.
Ran it fat long enough breaking in.

Took red stops off and got full carb adjustment. Now I am at 12.5k I had it at 12.8K but was super hot and when cools off will change. So went in favor of hair fatter.

I thought about how I was going to run my muffler test on OEM and farmertec clone 2511.

Waiting on one more cnc muffler to arrive.

Then I think I will just run the egan pipe, pss V2, wsc on oem. We all know the oem muffler is a dud stock. So scratch that.

Then run the farmertec clone on it's open small pipe muffler, then egan pipe, pss v2, wsc.

The other guy is going to do it too and also have them put on dyno. egan, pss v2, wsc on the farmertec 2511. Sounding about 3-4 weeks out for him.

pss v2 16.42mm
18.5mm x 7.6mm rectangle. wsc muffler
egan pipe 13.21mm
clone 9.97mm

Looking forward to your comparison runs. Can you please also post the dyno results when you see them?

Walbro carbs on the Farmertec China clone saws

I always figured they were made at the China walbro plant.

Dealer contacted Walbro = We have contacted walbro and verified in fact that the carburetors are made by walbro. By a marking on the carb they could tell me what plant they where made in. The 660 and 372 carbs are made in Thailand for the china market. So I would assume the rest are made in the Thailand walbro factory.

Dealer = Just pulled the walbro carb off the new g366 pro and it has the same markings indicating it is made also in the Thailand plant.

Can you even imagine the mind numbing experience of building those things all day, every day and having them sold for less than $20 on the internet market?

The second saw I grew up with, after the Mini Mac, was a Homelite XL12, Straight pipe (well basically just a vented tin box. Your ears thumped, it was Deafening. No wonder I am hard of hearing today.

1/2 cord you were deaf and numb for the rest of the day.

These pipe deals on these 2511 25cc saws not to loud at all IMHO. I figure the straight through open muffler ones will be even quieter.

Dyno even shows proven gains with the design. So they knew back then using those open pipe muffler design deals.
