Buying Advice John Deere Z830a

I'm in the market for a zero turn. We just purchased a 1.5acre property.
I'm looking to spend 5k. I have the option to pick up a used JD Z830 60" with 500hrs
In good condition for that much. Any thoughts on this machine ?

i have one and love it. can't mow any faster than with zero-turn, sold me x485 because never used it anymore. only issue is if you want to spray, use cart to pick up grass, you will need a hitch

I will never be without a zero turn. I currently have a Z710A 54 inch deck on it and would be lost without it. My dad mows about 2.5 acres and was mowing it with a Kubota B7800 with a 72 inch MMM, borrowed my zero turn and mowed with it a couple times and went out and bought a Z930M 60 inch deck a couple of weeks ago. The only thing I wish mine had was a thicker seat on it like the 830 you're looking at should have. I know with mine after an hour or so it starts to feel like you're riding on a sheet of plywood. As far as the price I would say the best thing you could do is get on tractorhouse.com or machinefinder.com and check prices on that model with close to the same hours on it. Good luck.
