It's just me but I would never run a gas tractor.
Diesel power is stronger and more efficient. And less maintenance in my experience.
I wouldn't look twice

Thanks all. I’m not set on this make over that make. I don’t discriminate against paint color. Maintenance doesn’t scare me either. I work on medium and heavy duty trucks daily. I would love to have another mfwd tractor like my 4005 was, I just need something bigger and while I can spend more, my budget is set for $15k max. I sold my 4005 for more but I’d like to get back in the game for less than what I sold her for. This tractor will be used as a chore tractor where I produce and feed round bales. A little driveway maintenance as well. I appreciate everyone’s input thus far.

Some of these tractors look interesting;

Here is a link to a tractor house search of Illinois, Indiana and Ohio for under $15,000 with a loader.

This guy is local to me and my boss knows him. Thinks I can get it for $8k. I still think it’s a bit overpriced. I like the rear wheel weights for doing the loader work.

This one is would be about a 7 hour round trip but is diesel.

The gas one looks prettier, the diesel looks to be using the two rear remotes to operate the loader. This used to be quite common. Not sure were the gasser is getting it's loader hydraulics.

If you are 100% stuck on green then whatever but IMO, you'll get a much batter bang for your buck by perusing other brands simply because the 40 series Deeres have a cult like following and are priced accordingly.

I’ll look for others that are local and comparable in price, if not a better deal.

This would help with adding a couple farm hydrants but the hours scare me a bit here, if they’re the right amount. I have found it on FB for $12,900. It’s a couple of hours from me as well. I’ve read about checking the Ta.

That tach/hour meter has been replaced I would almost bet on it. I don't see a TA on that tractor. It is a simple shifting transmission an inline 4 speed with a high/low reverse on the other lever. Makes a decent shuttle shift.

The JD 4020 diesel was one of the best green tractors ever built. Motor, transmission, rear end all complimented each other. No experience with a gas burner. Green paint on a tractor costs more than red or blue.
