Thank you for the advice. I will replace the filter. That sounds like an easy fix. Is the same true of Napa fuel filters. I replaced all the filters and fluids before my first start. Everything else seems to run good.
Very excited to have this Turf special 5210 added to our little fleet. By far our newest tractor. Appreciate the help. Thank you

I read another thread a few days ago where someone had an aftermarket filter cause trouble. Factory filter fixed it. I think it was on a john Deere.

I use aftermarket filters on my New Holland backhoe without any problems.

Thank you for the help. I drained the system and cleaned the screen. Certainly needed cleaning. I used a spoon to clear dirt from case and replaced the filter with John Deere filter. The system was reading full but only about 6gallons came out. Is there any way to remove remaining fluid before I refill. The fluid looked milky

Attempting to remove more hyd oil will probably require some disassembly which could result in hyd pump possibly requiring priming before it will begin pumping oil. I would recommend filling with cheaper hyd oil then operating a few hrs. Then drain cheaper oil & install better hyd oil.

Hello. And thank you to all who responded. I was able to drain and replace the fluid and clean the sump screen. Almost immediately everything came to life. It is working great. Thank you

My 2001 John Deere 5210 turf special does not have a hole in the shaft to install a Pto clutch for a brush hog. Is that needed?

Trying to connect hydraulic lines for backhoe attachment. How do you get hydraulic pressure to attachment. Does not seem to have pressure. Thank you
