John Deere 2020 hydraulic problems

1st thing you need to understand is trans pump is a gear pump that lubricates trans shafts/brgs,supplies low pressure(155 psi) oil to operate(if so equipped) hyd hi-lo or reverser & hyd pto. Then excess trans pump output is sent to frt pump. Picture labeled YT is a valve not a piston. Pictured below encircled in pink is photo of frt hyd pump piston. I have no idea from viewing your photo where your broken part originated.

I was going to say the same as TxJim (he gets up a LOT earlier then me) your picture is not anything to do with the transmission pump. Where is it from?

Thank you both for getting up early. Jim the mistaken valve picture from YT looks a lot like the ends in that picture. I've never had one of these apart and wonder if maybe it's item #15 in the IPB you posted? The shape and ends look to be similar, just a thought.
Here is what I found in the Gresen control, nothing else just these items.

TX I did as you requested with the both loader valves in neutral position. Hydraulic fluid started squirting out the return. However, I loosened the Return connection on the controls, the coupler end was so **** tight. I also found another piece of debris in the supply line to the spools. Attached a closer picture and you can see none of the connections are broken. TX do I need to rebuild the spool now at this point of my adventure? Is there a kit with everything I need?

Due to the fact that the contents of the parts under the plugs don't appear to be adjustable relief valves or Closed-center plug my guess is spool to housing clearance is too great & spools & valve housing will require replacing to stop oil from exiting open control valve return hose.

The front pump started whining something fierce. 3-point won't operating and FEL doesn't operate. I suspect the transmission pump digested more metal. When i get my gauges I'll see what the pressure is out of the transmission pump before draining Hydro fluid and looking into filters.

When you removed FEL control valve return hose for test where was hose left attached(control valve or ported filter cover)?? One can remove hose from ported filter cover & with all hyd functions in neutral,start engine to check flow out of open orifice on ported filter for "shade tree mechanic" GPM output of trans pump

I did the test this morning on the ported filter. Removed hose and let the canister empty. Pulled the coil wire and cranked the engine for 15 seconds, measured the output, 1 pint on the nose. From what I've read the transmission pump is not feeding the volume nor psi required. Now it's getting expensive.

I can't remember for sure how these affect hyd filter gpm but I'll advise to check hyd filter relief & surge relief valves to be sure that they're not stuck open. These valves are located close to hyd filter canister

The output should have been 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 gallons, I got a pint. Something came a part inside given the debris I've found, time to fix it correctly. When you pull the plug and metal parts fall out you need to find the source, it's just going to get worse. Thanks for everyone's help especially TX Jim.
