I had an old G3038 made in 2012 and now have the XG3025 which was renamed the MT225E. Numerous friends and relatives have MT235, MT240, and MT225E models. They all do the exact same thing because it is a characteristic of the hitch valve and there's nothing we can do. Replacing or adjusting the hitch valve won't fix it. Unfortunately, Don Brien or anybody else won't be able to change that. I just learned to live with it, and once I got the lever stop adjusted so it lowers to the correct depth every time, and got the drop speed dialed in, it's not a problem as long as I don't pull the lever too slowly to raise. If I try to raise slowly, or make small depth adjustments, yup, the jerkiness is really annoying but that's how it is. Otherwise, I love the tractor and got a good deal on it so I try not to let it piss me off too much. It's the only thing on the tractor I don't like. I remember lots of old John Deere farm tractors years ago that the hitches would chatter and jerk when raising, and Case tractors with the jerky powershift that broke shear pins on implements if the pto was running, and Fords with the jerky select-o-speed. Now days, we have higher expectations but sadly there's still no machine that's perfect.
