My tractor has just over 3000hrs on it. Last spring the hydraulics shut down. I pulled the screen in the bottom of the transmission and found it plugged with very fine black particles. I cleaned it up, changed the main filter and put in new oil. Couple of days ago it started in giving me some issues like the hydraulics were starving. I pulled the screen again and found it to have more of this material on it although not as bad. I put my finger in the filter hole and was able to get some fiber pieces out that were laying on the bottom of the case. Only thing I can think they might be part of is the hyd forward/reverse clutches.
Looks like a tear down now. Anyone else had any issues like this? This tractor has been torn down 3 times under warrantee. Will do this one myself.

It the transmission is working fine, I would suspect brakes as Tx Jim said.

Thank you for the input, never thought about brakes. Will take a look at the circumference of the different systems. As I have a small piece it gives me a small idea at how big the diameter of the discs. Will be a while before I get serious about getting into it. Will be gone till after the new year.
