I had my ride and I had to rush, so I was unable to take more pictures.
The tractor rides well, and it was comfortable. When you mount it, it actually appears bigger. The fenders and deck are made of plastic, but the hood is metal. The engine is placed with the radiator in front, and the exhaust also directed forward and left. There is quite a bit of space in the engine compartment.
The height adjustment for the mower is on the floor. The joystick for the loader stays with the machine, and the hydraulic valve connectors are under the very flat deck. The differential and the 4 wheel drive selector are awkwardly placed on the bottom just in front of the seat. The hi-lo selector is in the right fender, and the PTO selector is on the left, it offers the choices of mid only, rear only or both mid and rear. The 3PH appears to elevate to a higher level than that of a
BX2200. The 2210 will take implements designed for the 4010 and similar sized tractors.
I believe it compares very well with a
BX2200, including price.
The quote I got are as follows, and I did not bargain.
Base machine: $8822.00
210 loader: $1999.00
62" MMM: $1499.00
My fear is that JD is not yet ready to sell the machine yet, though the dealer stated that the one I rode had been sold, I suspect that it is actually on its way to another dealership.
All in all, a welcome addition to the sub-compact segment.
