Quick Question:

When using Cruise Control I seem to get a little more speed than when pressing out the fwd pedal. Is there a pedal adjustment? I checked the manual and did not see any instruction.

Mine's just the opposite. I can go faster with pedal. I could bend my cruise lever to get it to catch up, but never bothered. Can you examine the control rods and look for an adjustment?

If I were not tending the kids tonight until well past dark.
Then too lazy to head out to the garage..
Figured the "internet" knows everything so I would ask 'it'.

Cruise Control does have a friction adjustment:

Service Transmission
Adjusting Cruise Control Lever

NOTE: The cruise control lever is held in position by an adjustable friction mechanism pre-set at the factory. The amount of friction can be adjusted for the operator's preference or to accommodate normal wear.

1. Park machine safely. (See Parking Safely in the SAFETY section.)

2. Locate adjusting bolt (A) at right wheel well.

3. Turn adjusting bolt so cruise control lever moves easily forward and rearward while remaining stationary in any desired position:

ｷ Clockwise (+) - increases friction on lever.

ｷ Counterclockwise (-) - decreases friction on lever.

Yep, that's the friction adjustment. I had to back off on mine to get the brake pedal to push the cruise lever back without heroic pressure on the pedal. I don't believe that will synchronize the top end positions of the lever and pedal. Bending or straightening a rod a bit may be required? Or perhaps there's a transaxle tweak we don't know about?

I'd have looked but I couldn't find my flashlight.
