JD 997 Mower Advice Needed

I am going to look at a 2009 JD 997 zero turn mower this weekend (72" deck, 540 hours). I have really studied them and test drove one at a dealer this past fall so am quite familar with them. Any problem areas to really look at on a used machine? I am upgrading from a JD 430 60" deck diesel mower. Thanks!

The objection I have heard is that the front axle does not pivot as the Kubota. The complaint was that causes issues on ditches, banks. This was coming from a gent that traded a Kubota on one. A test ride, if possible, may let you know if that is an issue for you.

They are a 1700 pound indestructible tank. I really like mine (bought it new in 2013), but it is not real refined. I guess the main thing to look for is if it was maintained properly with hydraulic end engine oil changes. 540 is not many hours. They are good for several thousand.
