JD 513 Rotary Cutter

Hi,

I am looking for a light duty rotary cutter. Found a 2002 John Deere 513 for sale for $500 with the claim it has been used 50 hrs or less. I have no reason not to believe the "low use" claim -- deck is free of defects, paint still pretty good even though it has been outdoors for 5 yrs.

Is this a decent price? I have no idea what is fair price for one of these.

Yes it is, I got lucky and got my 513 from a guy close by in Ohio for $182 on Ebay and it was like brand new. Good hog but watch backing it into stuff, the rear is somewhat weak.

It is practically the same as the LX5 they sell now.. The 513 sold for around $1k new..

To me $500 is a pretty good price..
