She won't move or raise due to a hydraulic problem. Where is the pump and what is the estimated cost. She is a 72 510 loader/backhoe

:welcome:
What is the history of the problem?
Or did it happen all of a sudden?

Go to JDparts and you should be able to find where the pump(s) is/are.
kennyd has tutorial in all of his posts

I found 510 pumps in jdparts, but the serial numbers and having the 510 available are needed to sort out the various pumps listed. But your direction to the OP is good and should help Judge Jake.

You probably have 2 pumps on this. A transmission pump that takes care of fluid to another pump and lubrication.
Does it have a pump on front of engine hooked to crank? If it does, possible it is a radial type pump that is not coming in to stroke, or connection between pump and crank come loose, or transmission pump not supplying oil flow to it. And I am assuming that it is a closed center system.

One more thought, does it have a wire running to it to control a solenoid? If it does check your connection/solenoid.
