JD 4115 Recifier location

Hi all,
I have a charging problem that sounds like a bad rectifier. If I were to replace it myself, where would I find it on the tractor? Does not seem to be located anywhere near the alternator. Is it behind the dash?

generally the rectifier/voltage regulator is either mounted under the hood on the firewall uprite, or under the steering wheel in the lower dash housing area.

shoot me your email and I'll send you a PDF of the Deere Tech manual, I'm sure you'll find a picture of it's location, along with how to test it

I casually looked at the firewall this afternoon but didn't see anything obvious. Just saw a couple of fuse blocks and it looks like the alternator wires (pair) disappear into the main loom.
