JD 4024T Engines.........

I am an industrial buyer for an OEM construction equipment manufacturer. We use the same John Deere 4024T engines ya'll use in the tractors.

Before I say anything further I'd like to ask a question. Have any of you had problems with your new engines smoking?

just over 90 hrs so far,,, no smoke

maybe a bit on cold start,,,, just normal

Recent problem on our production line. To date, 15 out of 19 JD4024T engines are doing this.

They come from all different serial number ranges 11k, 17k, 18k, 33k..............etc.

These engines are being tested in Arkansas and Texas.

darn,,,

that is a warmed up engine !!!!

I dont think you can tell if mine is running or not from a photo..... specially warmed up....

The 4024t has been around quiet a while hasn't it...
