I'm new to this forum. I just acquired a JD 400 with the loader option. After changing the fluids and installing a new starter it runs like a champ.
I noticed when I changed the starter out that the PTO tentioning pulley was mis-aligned. I fixed it but noticed that the hydraulic pump that connects to the front PTO had a lot of vibration.
I removed the pump and determined that the connection shaft is worn on the pump end and may have to be replaced. Any ideas where I can find one. I may need a new pump as well.
