While doing brush work with my 3520 eHydro, I snagged and broke off (inside the sensor, natch!) the MFWD speed sensor wires, obviously rendering the sensor non-functional and triggering an error message on the display. The JD part number for the sensor is LVA11184, and this includes the hall effect sensor itself and a 6" three-wire harness ending in a plastic connector. JD wants over 60 bucks for this piece, which I find a little high. I've done internet searches using what appears to be a Honeywell part number that is also on the harness (728086-01), but have had no luck finding a definitive listing or supplier. I'm betting this sensor is a standard sort of part that is available at less than half the JD price... anyone been down this road?
