It sat for three months waiting on a cylinder replacement. I think it has been sluggish since getting started up from that rest. Definitely shows its sluggishness when attempting to drag log, lost a good bit of power, almost to the point of sputtering. Is there any good diesel fuel system cleaner I can put in the tank?

How old is the fuel filter? Maybe change that first and see if it has any effect. I use Diesel Clean (silver container) in my fuel

Yeah it's likely fuel related, it was off road diesel that was in the tank, sitting for months. I'll try to operate the fuel separator first.

Engine sluggishness is likely due to lack of fuel to inj pump not fuel quality. I suggest to change fuel filter & check for good fuel flow from tank to inj pump. My rd baling tractor sat in shed from Oct. '21-last of April '22. Turned ignition key switch engine started went to field & operated rd baler.

It was the filter/separator. Perhaps I could have purged the water out of the first one. I wonder if the off road diesel I got had water in it. Runs like a champ after changing it
