I have a JD 2040 s/n 211506 L. Is there a kit for remote hydraulic install

If your 2040 has a 3 cyl engine then according to your serial # it has open-center hyd system. I suggest to contact tractor salvage yards inquiring about an open center scv kit. Another option would be to install a 2 spool similar to valve used to control frt end loader similar to photo below. To install loader control valve one would need block (item 28) part # W21205

I think JD 2040 tech manual will contain info you need. I know loader mounting instructions have that information. Search for Equipment Publications - Technical Information Store 800-522-7448
