JD 430 4400

John Deere 1999 430 4400 Bucket Tilt cylinder. I don't see an outside snap ring? Is that normal? I want to rebuild the seals. I know I have to push it in till I see the groove for the install of the JD seal tool. It is not going in to reveal that. Any ideas. Thank you

That cylinder is a different design than my 2001 430 loader uses. Is the gland end screwed onto the cylinder tube?
