JD 2010 Injector Pump

I am posting this for a neighbor, he has a JD2010 (Hope I got that right) and needs an Injector Pump for it. He doesn't want to spend $500.00 for a new one. Any suggestions where a used or refurbished one may be found?

I found a couple of sites that offer used parts services in my bookmarks and did a quick web search to find several more. At least one of these sites (none of which I've dealt with) offer a parts locator service, and others offer rebuilt parts. Your neighbour might run a request for a pump through a locator service, look for a rebuilt pump, or a rebuilding service, and see what happens. A more extensive search would probably turn up additional sites.

I wish you/him luck; I've looked at a lottt of new/used tractor parts locations on the net, and haven't found anything at a lower price than the local tractor dealers, including JD..BUT if you do locate a good source with good prices, please post it. good luck.
