My IT shop manual does not have a wiring diagram, and a Google search returns TMI, and what might be pertinent is not readable. Does anyone know where I can get a correct, legible 1050 wiring diagram on-line? My starter has a dead spot, and the rebuild shop has asked if there is a relay ahead of the starter. I would hope a wiring diagram would answer that question. Thanks in advance

I do not have the 1050 wiring diagram, but only the 1070. There is a schematic that is identified as the "old version" which leads me to think maybe it is a carryover from the 1050 and may be of some help.
I'll attach it for what it may be worth to you...

No relay, although it is not uncommon for people to add a relay to the solenoid so that it can receive voltage straight from the battery without any loss thru the key switch. Hope this helps, PM if you need a more legible copy

Thanks, guys. The 1070 schematic has some differences from my 1050--probably a combination of mine being an early model plus fundamental changes from the 50 series to the 70. Knowing that there is not a relay is a big help--I won't search for what isn't there.

The diagram I attached is a 1050 all models diagram.

10-4, Rock knocker. The image was hard to read until I accidentally enlarged it, and that is exactly what i was looking for. Thanks for all the help.
