Issue with PMs.

I am having a strange issue with the PM system. When someone sends me a PM, I get the notice in my e-mail that it is there. That is the only way that I know that someone has sent one. The icon that use to show up at the top of the page does not show up. The strange part is that when I get a message, I can hold my cursor over where the icon should be and a box will appear. If there is no message the box will not appear The icon is invisible. Is any one else having this problem?

It's strange and the only thing that I am having problems with on the computer and only on this site.

Try logging off of TBN, clearing your cache and logging back on. That usually fixes most display problems, for me, at least. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I have tried all of the usually fixes and nothing seems to change it. That is why I thought that maybe it was something in the programming on TBN.

At the risk of being redundant, mine is working normally also /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Could it be something on your end?

I normally just get my computer science major son on the problem /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I can't understand why it doesn't do it all the time. I got a PM about 15 minutes ago and it showed up. The two before that didn't. The one before those did. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
It's really a hit and miss deal. Maybe someone else will have the same problem and figure it out. Thanks guys.

Hi Jerry!

Yeah, I haven't been very regular lately for a couple of reasons. First, I can't believe how busy I've become since I retired. Some days it seems like I don't have a whole lot to do, and then all of a sudden it's the end of the day! And secondly, I'm not always where I can log on to the internet. And when I do find some place, it seems like I can't spend too much time and I have to take care of our "financial" business first. By the time I finish with that, I've run out of time for anything else. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
