Murphy's Law in action! That sounds like something that would happen to me. Last year we had an invasion of red squirrels. I shot about twenty of the little tree rats and pitched the carcasses in the woods for the ravens and magpies to eat. A couple of months later I drug the snowmachines into the garage to get them ready to ride, popped the cowling open and found all the dead squirrels stashed under the engine. Evidently, our resident ermine thought that was a great place to cache food.
