My issue was this.......I supported and praised the customer service I received at my local store when I purchased over $40,000 of tractor and implements. I was approached by Doug at the Gainesville store. I didn’t reach out to him he contacted me through the store salesperson.

I asked him about the loader issue and he told me it would be corrected. We emailed info from this forum back and forth and were told it was being addressed. Weeks later.....poof!

Then comes along Brian who took it upon himself to introduce himself, talk about his position and started handling concerns through this forum. He found the loader issue, emailed me directly and talked about the resolution. He asked if I would provide pictures and a small story for a Tractor Owner of the Month expose that they were doing - poof!

My concern, aside from the issue, is the watered-down version we are all getting from a product we want to support because WE own it and WE use it and WE like it. They’ve diluted my trust.

I’m skeptical at this point. I’m worried I made the wrong choice. And I’m slightly bewildered at what the heck RK management teams are doing at the top with such high end turnover.

I fell for it. Bought the tractor at a great price with the stuff that the others didn’t include. I saw the promises of on mobile maintenance and repair. Heard of technicians able to fix tractors in the store.

It’s going to take a lot for RK to gain my trust. We all read the comments by Doug and Brian and their promises. And where are they now??????

If RK was standing behind the commitments Brian made - someone is reading this.

And they better hurry before people who like the product start to hate the people behind it.

It only takes one person to effect the decisions of ten.

I talked to the salesperson the other day to get an answer about Brian. I was told that email addresses at RK change everyday when I asked if Brian still worked at RK because his email was returned to me.

Pay attention RK! Owners of your products are getting tired of the runaround and disloyalty.

And why is it a dilemma yet? Has RK stopped answering questions through their listed contacts on their website or through the stores that sell and service their tractors?

Public forums is a poor way to do customer support because it can't be done efficiently, has to put up with trolls, exposes the company to bad publicity when there's a public disagreement between a customer and their public forum service presence, etc... While it might be possible to do a good job with product support in regards to technical questions like parts identification, it's highly likely to not be able to do a good job with issues like warranty questions, repair questions, business dealings questions, etc... in a public forum. It exposes them to too much liability and too much distraction.

Well put!
Someone at the top of RK must promptly take meaningful control of RK tractor support, or the entire RK tractor program will likely become a major flop.
Poor customer support news spreads like wildfire.

So I will say this. I got a phone call from the person I bought the tractor from at my local RK store. She is phenomenal. She has followed up with me every step of the way and long after my purchase. She always tells me we are “family” and I whole heartedly believe her. She knows my wife’s name and asks about her frequently.

She told me today that she may have found what is causing the FEL unevenness. After listening to her it made sense, but I’ve yet to try it.

The gas tank on the RK55 sits on the left side of the tank as you’re sitting in the cab. The left side of my FEL touches the ground before the right side, this being lower. She estimated about 98 pounds of diesel in the RK tank when full. Long story short she tried a bunch of stuff and when she emptied the tank the FEL sat level.

Like I said, I haven’t tried this yet, but I will put a 100 pound weight on the other side to see if it levels it out.

I wish the company would let some of these employees get on the forum as a means of checks and balances. I’m not saying everyone should get on here and analyze every issue, but it’s no worse than what we have now.

As for Brian, who knows what happened to him. But I can say for certain that I really don’t care to have a mother RK rep from the top blowing smoke at us.

As a fellow RK owner, I have similar feelings. While I agree it's nice to have an RK Tractors presence on this site, can you sum up what has/hasn't been done through official RK Tractors customer service avenues regarding your (our) crooked FEL dilemma? I've kind of lost track of the whole thing.

Interesting.
TYM design issue?
Every tractor I have ever owned, has had it's fuel tank center line mounted.

Interesting. Didn't realize that the weight of the fuel would affect that much but it makes total sense as TYM group (TYM/RK, Branson) uses the fuel tanks on the left side underneath the floor pan area. Which is a very nice feature to have as it makes life a lot easier when filling the tank.

If one really wants to fix the level issue, he can either play with pressure on rear tires (increase one side/decrease the other) or add weight to the right side.
