Is anyone here familiar with scaffolding?

I figure I can also use the scaffold to hang/age/skin/butcher deer during hunting season, too. 😎
My Bakers scaffolds came with wheels and my shops (~5,000 sq. ft.) all have nice concrete floors. The scaffolding also makes decent shelving/work surfaces.

I had a similar setup a while back and ended up going with Wimbledon scaffolding services since they were fine with short-term residential setups and handled uneven ground better than I expected. Their crew helped me figure out bracing options too, which made me feel more confident pulling boards off the second-story siding. Worth checking into if you're not sure about weight limits or local rules.

In my experience, when a woodpecker, or raccoon, or squirrel, makes a hole in a house, the only way to stop them is to put a metal plate over that hole. The metal covers for electrical junction boxes work the best. Once screwed over the hole, I caulk the edges and paint to match. It's still visible, but it blends in well enough not to be an eye sore.
I use a sling shot and a lump of dirt. When the lump of dirt explodes a foot away, after two or three times, they don't come back.

I bought/have three sets, but never put up more than one high. Getting the second or third set erected, was too much for me. I use a rented man-lift for aerial work.

I was just looking over today's Rural King ad and they have the smaller scaffolding on special for 169, marked down from 269. I am talking about the type more suited for interior work. Today only.

Hmm, I was thinking that the sale was just for today as it was in an email which they are sending daily. I got a flyer on the mail and it showed that price is good until the 24th.

Kind of tough to wrap and fit under the tree though.

Well, if you had the ceiling height I suppose that you could set the tree on top of the scaffold then wrap a sheet over it until the right moment

G'mornin.
Became familiar with my scaffolding that has been mine for 8-10 years last Friday morning.
Carelessly went to work 6 ish feet up and one of the oil treated indoor kept 2x10's failed without any sign at all. Needed a piece of OSB to spread my extra Thanksgiving package over more than one board apparently. No injuries other than scrapes on my arms as I went through between the other 2 planks. Yes, I realize how lucky that was.
Shocked me, I take care of them. Scares me to think I was 20 feet up on them last year.
It's been pointed out to me by Mrs. Obvious that aluminum planks for these are only $200. What the problem is is that you usually need several, and I've said it before but I really plan on selling these sets soon so I can't take on these big projects anymore!!
BEEEEE CAREFUL Gentlemen. I cringe when I think of what even a sprain would've set me back.
