Hello,
I just registered and posted my first question. Here is the introduction: I am the new owner of an old JD 4300 (1150hr). I have no experience with tractors whatsoever. I just got tired spending 10+ hrs mowing 5 acres with a small Craftsman. So I got the JD with a 72 belly mount mower. What a difference! Not to mention there plenty of stuff around waiting to be done with the JD. And plenty of implements to buy. Old tractor, new problems, well that痴 another thread

Welcome! I used a JD 4300 when I did part time work at a YMCA Camp a few years back, good tractor.

I also replaced a Craftman Garden tractor with a JD 4600 with FEL and 72"MMM. I love the time it has saved me in mowing 6+ acres. I now have several extra hours to pester the wife.:laughing: Eventually I'll aggravate her enough and I will be able to get some more attachments for the 4600. :licking:Welcome to TBN and feel free to check out the other forums.
