Injector pump problem??

Stanadyne is a whole lot better at making kitchen faucets than injection pumps. I don't know if Stanadyne bought Rosa Master but I do know rotary pumps are a pain.

Well you have to eliminate the check ball as a problem, the easiest way to do this is to see if the engine runs better without the fitting in the pump, you dont have to run it for a half day with the fitting out, you will know instantly when the engine fires.

Yessir, time for a pump rebuild, the piece you found of course is the source of the problem, when it starts coming apart those little bits of rubber go straight to the check ball and fouls it up, never saw one come completely out usually just the bits of rubber that stop the check ball from working, but anything is possible I suppose.
