I have a Iseki TX1500 with KE75 Mitsubishi 2cyl. I have had one heck of a time getting it started after having set for year.
New diesel filter, bleeding at filter & inj. Pump. Cracked lines at injectors.
As engine turned over, closed off each bleed point when air bubbles stopped.
Noticed 1st. Injector appeared to have minimal flow.
Retraced above procedure. Same result. Glow plugs/Engine cranks over, black smoke a plenty, but no start.
Thought there might be an injector pump issue so removed pump. Left the same as removed, no indication of rust or contamination.
Put back into engine, was careful to line up governor with accelerator rack and buttoned up. Turned over and fired. Went to adjust throttle and had a runaway! Never experienced this before. High rpms, smoke and heat. Thought, running through my mind, I was going to lose this engine. Panic set in and I grabbed a pair of pliers and pinched off fuel. 10sec. Later it was over.
Now I am a little leary of starting it until I can correct the problem. Have any of you experienced this or can give me a suggestion on what to do. I did not have the injector fuel return line on the injectors, could that have caused the issue?
