Info on this transaxle .

Can this transaxle be mounted in the position shown? I am planning on utility hauler and need something that can be installed this way?

What do you mean by the position shown. If as shown in the picture on surplus center the answer is yes.

Unless that transaxle is a different design than the many I’ve worked with, that is not the proper orientation. The shaft should be pointed up. That’s where the fan would mount, or a pulley

Looks right to me. The 2000 series (according to my expert who owned one) had horizontal shaft engines.

I should have added the disclaimer that it’s very possible I’m wrong.

Looking closer, you’re right. The placement of the brake lever shows that it can’t rotate 90 degrees like I thought.

It appears to mount as shown. The filler plug on the back should be in the up position. There are two bolt on one side to bolt to frame.

I ordered it ,but it hasn`t arrived yet.I am a little embarrassed about my concept since all of ya`lls are so nice.I will post pics when I get it a little more together.
