Info on CS and CX? gators?

I'm looking at cs or cx gators any field reports any comparisons look very very simular other than engine. features price anything might help make a descion. basicaly using it for pull cart like golf cart to pull my pulling tractor around with 2000#. any info thanks..

No field reports but we have sold a couple I think 2 or 3. There is a foot start kit so you can drive it just like a golf cart and my boss went to a golf tournament and brought along a gator CX.

My big surprise is that the spin on oil filter is an option... I must be nuts, but I really like the plastic bed!

LOL yah the little bed got us liking the little one too be great for our dogs to ride in back around our subdivision and round the yard too.. lol i understand they have a canopy top and windshield too.. whatz the price's on these units in ur area? 4500-4800??

I believe the CX has a differential lock, where the CS does not. That plus 2 extra hp would make it pull much better.

I know these are pretty puny. But being able to buy two for the price of one HPX is pretty hard to ignor. Even used standard gators aren't as good a buy.

I was quoted ~4500 for the CX. If I went to the HPX it would be to get 4WD and that ends up at 9K

The CS has NONE, not even an option! Whats up with that?

You can get a 2 wheel drive version HPX and save 1,500 if it helps any.

Well I was just out talking to a guy on the lot while I was on break trying to sell something and he was really looking at a used 6x4 Gator so I pointed out the features of it then he saw the new HPX behind it and said how much are those 2 wheels? I said they only came in 4x4 and then when I looked at the dash the 4x4 switch was missing. Indeed a new 4x2. The salesman I asked said they were 1,500 cheaper than a 4x4 HPX.

List price on the 4x2 is $8099 and the 4x4 is $9099. I was quoted a price of around $7000 on the 4x4. Some dealers only sell for list but most are willing to come down.

At my place where I don't make the pricing I think we may charge list but not sure, I bet we don't. I would have to ask a salesman. I just go by them tags JD puts on all the new stuff for a quick quote when I am looking around the place or cleaning/assembling new stuff up.
