increasing hydraulic pressure????

it has been a while since i have been on here. i remember seeing how you can add shim packs to increase your lifting and digging. what i need refreshed on is where they go. i know they go uder the seat but which plug do you take out? someone had a picture to show where it was. i know you cant add to many or things will bend. i just need help all the way around.
