Anyone have one of these on their Deere? The dealer i talked to swore by them....said it was the best $250 bucks you could spend. Im curious if it is compatible with other non-Deere or Frontier Implements?

I think they sell bushing kits to go with the iMatch.....but has anyone used those bushing kits on another brand implement and been successful?

If you do a search you will find various discussion of the iMatch. As far as the bushings go, take a look at this Thread

I think maybe $250 is a little steep. $200 is more like it. I have one. Works well. I think the generic brands may do the job well too.

I have IMatch's on my 4710 & 2210. I think they are great & would not go without them. I use the following implements with the IMatch's. JD MX6 cutter, Frontier BB1172 Box blade, 60" King Kutter tiller, Bush Hog 70-06 grader blade, King Kutter carry all & a Worksaver landscape rake. The only piece of equipment I had to modify was the landscape rake. I only had to add bushings to the others.

I have the Imatch/quickhitch from deere

Really like it

The bushing kit worked for me on the one thing I've tried it on / except the toplink was not in the proper position. No other fix other than torch and weld on this particular item.

The dealer had to torch and weld the spanking new 681 tiller - it says imatch right on it but in the fine print in the manual indicates that this one particular model is NOT imatch compatible. Just a matter of a couple inches move on the toplink.

Worth the trouble though.

I still have other items I need to modify but none look like they are going to be a big deal.

Worked right off with my 1180 box blade / dealer moded the 681 tiller since it was supposed to come imatch ready / disc needed toplink moved and bushings.

More to come in near future.

I think I paid 200.00

Darn,,,

You must have your computer mounted on the tractor.

Or is that not where you sit most of the time /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thought the 2 dealers who mentioned iMatch price to me said something like $285-300. The price for the TSC one is $196.

Anyone have one of the other quick hitch gizmos? Do some of the others have a width or top coupler adjustment, maybe?

This is top of my list for Christmas items. Removing the cutter was a real pain without a quick hitch. Will try putting it back on after lubricating everything. Dealer delivered everthing dry as a bone. Looks like, as minimum, that one has to loosen those turnbuckles every time without the quick hitch. With quick hitch, all you'd have to do is maybe adjust the top link for attachment height, etc.

My iMatch was $200, but one has to consider what else was purchased at the time, and how much off retail the salesman wants to 'sweeten' the deal.
I wouldn't be without the iMatch on my 4300. Converted several attachments to fit, and would find it a pain to have to adjust the top hook when switching back and forth between attachments.
Thinking of having my front loader (not bucket) forks fitted with the 3 points so it too can be picked up with the iMatch for carrying pallets of wood in the winter while the FEL is off and the snowplow blade is on.

I have the i-match on my 4200 (when I'm not using the BH). It works well with other brand implements. I paid $150.00 about two years ago from the dealer.

Went by the local dealer this morning to pick up some lube stuff. Asked the salesman about iMatch. He gave me a price of $225. He had 2 of them in the back that he showed me.

Went after to TSC to pick up a couple of things. Looked at their quick hitch version. Kinda crude compared to JD's.

They had 3 KK carryalls there. Anyone used the KK carryall with iMatch?

He mentioned to me that the guy who delivered my tractor, loader & cutter told him that I'd asked about the loader leveler. He said it was supposed to be included. He's getting a leveler for me. Was yours included in your loader deliver?

I modified my carry-all to be picked up by the iMatch, and it is one of the handiest tools I have since that modification.

Without getting off the tractor, can drop the ballast box, back into the carry-all, pick it up and go. Just have to unlatch the locks and re-latch them, but still can do that from the seat.

I purchased the version from Homier. They can be mail ordered. About $175 shipped to the house. They are definatly not as nice as the IMatch.

I get the bushing kits for my attachments at TSC for under $13 (lower two only) that adapt from the Cat I to Cat III that the iMatch accepts. The Deere kit is around $30 but does include the top-link pin and bushing.

I recently purchase a new iMatch for $180 from my J.D. dealer. As for the $'s, I also purchased a 47" front snowblower (dealer obvioulsy had some wiggle room). As for its convenience, it is worth every penny when picking up iMatch compatible equipment. No more kicking, swearing, lifting, and grunting.

However, I have a 1060 Frontier Grooming mower I have not used the iMatch on yet. Dealer said a customer did but, had to rig a chain to the top pin on the top hitch plate and to the iMatch to allow the mower to float properly. So far, he has not remembered exactly what that customer rigged. I don't see how one connects to/picks-up an attachment that needs to float from the 3PH center link with the iMatch. If any one knows a good scheme, I'd appreciate the knowledge.

Can't wait til Friday to pick up my 790 and iMatch to go with it!!! Thanks again for the additional comments....no one seems to regret having one.

On my rotary cutter, I put the chain on the cutter running from the top link connection back to the supports at the rear of the deck. Gives the flexibility needed and adapts well to the iMatch.

You also could use two pieces of flat bar (2 X 8) to give it a float. Simply drill holes in each end, attach to center link and implement. Leave a little slack in it.

beenthere, Thank you. Sorry I'm so thick though. I don't envision what the top (center) hook on the iMatch is lifting. The Frontier has a swinging bracket (upside down "U") with the center lift pin through the "open" end. 3PH center link connects to that pin normally. When using the iMatch the center hook is open, as you know. I am not seeing what keeps the mower's swinging lift pin from slipping out of the iMatch center hook. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Hey,
I've been looking at JD Quick Hitch also. I've got a 6' Frontier GM2072R grooming mower and in the specifications it shows this mower as being iMatch compatable..........All that is needed is a Quick Attach System kit. Sounds interesting.

I did not discover that my Imatch hitch would not work on my Worksaver rear blade until the first time I wanted to blade snow last winter. It was 0 degrees and the wind was blowing snow into a drift around my blade while I was trying to install it on my tractor. This summer when it was somewhat warmer, I modified the hitch on the blade and landscape rake to fit the Imatch. It is a useful tool and saves alot of time and busted knuckles. (Plus it looks cool) Will try to post some pictures of the modifications at a later date.
