IH B414 Water pump torque spec

What's the torque spec on the water pump 3/8" stud bolt for B4141 diesel? I thought I saw it in the service manual a few years ago but can't find it now. Generic torque charts range from 20-70 ft/lb, depending on the grade of bolt. 23 ft/lbs doesn't seem to be enough, as it leaks coolant from the gasket, and I don't want to snap a stud off.

Go with grade 5 bolt specs (33 ft-lbe dry) .... If gasket leaks, try cleaning gasket surfaces (again) and maybe some aviation type (non-hardening) gasket sealer....

Thanks for your thoughts. I'd cleaned it up with steel wool and compressed air, and used Permatex ultra black for a gasket. It's been hovering around freezing and I thought temperature may have been a factor. I actually measured the bolt today and it's 7/16x14, putting it at 50ft/lb dry or 35ft/lb lubed according to my chart. Being a greasy old tractor, I split the difference at 40ft/lb. It has to set for 24 hours, so we'll see if it holds coolant tomorrow.
