I have the chance to buy a IH 1300 sickle mower, seller states new sickle and 2 extra, at $450 is this worth a 4 hr drive and are parts readily available? Thanks

Basically, it's the best sickle bar ever made. IF it's in good working condition and nothing is bent, then they are selling it too cheap. Parts can be had. If you get it, Webbs Sickle Service in Kansas ( i think that's where they are) is a great resource.

Thanks for the info, I got it for 455, going to get it next weekend, I also found out rowse in wi I think are still making this exact model design, and they have even upgraded some of the parts on it.
