No there is not. There is no "tow" or "freewheel" provision on the Toolcat.

With the engine off, is there any way to roll or move the Toolcat D series?

Yes and no. You would need to release the brakes. If you had a porta-power.

I have a set of 'bolts' that install in the axles that disengages the drive and allows you to 'roll' the Toolcat. Possibly this is only for B series?

"Yes and no. You would need to release the brakes. If you had a porta-power."

Where would this hook up to and would it release both front and rear brakes?

Does anyone know if these work on the D series?

Dennis,

How does one move one of these (say onto a trailer or tow truck) if something malfunctions and you can't drive it?

Thanks, Walt

To clarify brake release; the A,B,&C series with straight axle does have the access to install a tapered blot kit to mechanically release the brakes. D series and later (independent wheel suspension) does not have this.
On all series; even with brakes released the motors would still created a hydraulic lock that would skid the tires unless pressure is released. Easiest, but NOT EASY, would be to remove the shuttle spools from the motors.

To get one on a trailer or rollback, winch it on letting the tires skid.

I have my porta power set up with a test coupling that connects to to the port block. It acts like an acumulator. Pump it up to 35 psi turn the key on lower the TICs.That will release the brakes. step on the traction control after setting the direction control lever and tow or push away. FYI you may need to give the porta power a few more pumps to maintain the 35 PSI.
