I never did take any "astrology and psychics" math courses.

Can anyone here explain how the distances to the other planets in our solar system are calculated? The math goes back a thousand years or more (10K) but I couldn't do it again today based on first principles.

We all know that volcanic eruptions occur when sinners in Hades aren't shoveling fuel to the fires in unison or neglect to keep burner orifices clean enough for them to stay evenly lit. They're working pretty far down there but we don't know how many have fallen out the bottom of the planet to an even worse place.

Hey, maybe Earth isn't a disc but shaped like a grapefruit, flat on top but not on the bottom. If only we could venture over & around the ocean-containing ice wall for a better look, but that might require the technology to somehow fly there. If we were meant to fly we'd have been born wings, so I don't think that's possible. (btw, I can't begin to explain shoes.)

We waited for so long for a Blind Faith II that Clapton also made sure wouldn't happen.

btw, & OT but did anyone else pick up the CD re-release of Jethro Tull's 'Stand Up'? ("It was a new day yesterday, but it's an old day now ..")

He could play guitar, but he played keyboard on that.

Same shadows work on a flat earth and localized small moving sun.

Question everything you have learned about the universe and don't put blind faith into science.

In this video of them playing the latter the duet with Eric is much less uh, 'extravagant'. Meanwhile, Derek and his slide work on stage here aren't exactly featured, or IMO needed for the number. CFMWH has been covered by many.

A 'small' Sun like ours? How small? Moving on what path? Asking for a friend who can't read books, the Koran, the Bible, etc, and doesn't trust broadcast media, so pretty much lives in the dark.

Anyone can look at a 'flat' map and conclude that Siberia and Alaska are nowhere near each other. Is the supposed International Date Line really a misdirect as to where the edges of the Earth are?

I don't put blind faith in many things, eg: meteorology. The 'weather team' never gets it right. If that's a science IMO it's another hoax or they'd do better.

To be fooled by scientists makes me wonder how so many different faiths, nationalities, etc accept the 'folly' of 'false scientific beliefs'. We don't agree on language, borders, monetary units, human rights, the afterlife, labor & living costs, and more, but lately accept the earth as a sphere.

Do our political parties only pretend not to get along while they're both in cahoots to keep Area 51's secrets from us?

Anyway, we tend to accept many scientific 'truths'. So far, alien visitors, unicorns, and Bigfoot have none. ('Pics or a sighting didn't happen.') btw, IMO, internal lens reflections/artifacts 'cast shadows' on whether 'videos of alien craft' are what they're claimed to be.

More than one video out there. I don't hear organ on the album cut. Good excuse to 'play it again'. (the CD) It's been a few weeks and my housework is caught up, so I'll be working outside in the balmy 40s F while searching for Alien landing sites after another 'cuppa'. Cheers! (as likely another Captain & Coke, YMMV )
