I have a Predator 425 backhoe. The hydraulic drive just quit and I found that the gerotor inside the hydraulic pump had broken. I cannot identify the pump company to attempt to order parts. The backhoe was made by Superstav in the Czech republic in 1997. The pump appears to be supplied by a company out of Italy. I wonder if another tag is missing with the company name on it. Anyone recognize the tag? Or is there a shop in the U.S. that can remake the gerotor. (I have enough pieces to get the dimensions) the tag says Axial Pump APVC-250. I can't figure out how to attach a photo.

Is this pump a hydrostatic drive for the travel function? If yes it sounds like the charge pump is what failed. Italian could be Brevini.

So the charge pump is the gerotor positive displacement pump inside the variable volume pump, correct?

I’m curious of the same. A gerotor pump typically is lower pressure.
They are however used for “charge pumps” for piston type hydrostatic pump normally used for propel
Would be a really odd setup if it was used as an open circuit system like a backhoe to run differential area cylinders.
