Could someone explain the Egan pipe to me? Is it basically a tube that has been cut and rewarded at angles to clear the muffler housing or do the angles and size of the pipe serve some other function?

To tun the Egan pipe on a clone you need to trim your muffler cover.

Guy that ported this one showed me what he did.

Then mine on oem. Pipe was made for oem echo covers.

OEM mufflers are stuffed up inside.

IMHO it is not needed on these open clone mufflers with stock 9.97mm pipe already. For stock clone saw.

I found my old pic of the V-modest blue filter before the clone air filter mold had broken.

Def can see difference in quality compared to newer ones since they redid them to sell to clone companies.

Glad to see everyone enjoying their new saws! My echo 2511T is the saw that is always with me on the tractor. The Egan muffler was put on it a week after I purchased the saw 2 years ago and really upped the power. Next I plan to do the Oregon nano, just have been busy with other projects lately.

I got 2 of them on nano now. Have a 3rd nano set too. But using 1/4" mini micro on the fruit tree pruner. Smooth but slower.

I got lucky my oem echo came with Nano on it sold new like that PN.

I seen that the 2511T could be ordered with the Nano but I bought mine from the local Echo/Stihl shop and they didn't have that version in stock when I bought mine.

First time I looked it wasnt even offered yet either.

Also how I ended up trying 1/4" mini on first one because overseas was sold that way and my stihl 150T was sold that way. So new it would work for pruning.
