I got a PUMA!

Northern Tool finally had a sale on the PUMA air compressor I have been looking at

. Got 15% off plus got to use a $50 off coupon. So $400 before tax for the 60 gal model they have was too good to pass up.

Now to get it home and to it's final resting spot. Then wire it up and get a regulator, it never ends.

This is tractor related since I will use my pallet forks to get it out of the truck and in the garage, right?

I don't think you'll regret it. I bought that same model from a different company (Industrial Air) in Arlington, TX, in December, 1998. With a pressure regulator, some hoses and fittings, and sales tax, I spent $617.61 that day.

And mine was used every day for the next 4 years. When we had to move back to town in 2002, the realtor who handled the sale of our place also owned a ranch and he bought that compressor from me himself.

Got the compressor in the garage, now to figure out where to put it. I had planned to put it in the corner where it sits now and run the power to it. But since I did not end up with a 220 welder I am thinking about moving the table over and putting the compressor where the welder is. That would make the electrical easier, I can always move it around later if needed. It does sit nicely in the corner though.
